This conversation really happened between my daughter & me last week,while we were getting ready for our play date at Kastle Kingdom.

Abby: Mom I need to dress more fashionable…

Me: Why is that Abby?

Abby: I need to wear my Elsa dress and this cape (a dirty towel) when we go to Kastle Kingdom to meet Ray…

Me: How about your frozen t-shirt, its clean.

Abby: Ok

Disclosure: most of our wardrobe “discussions” are not won that easily.

 

 

Park Location: Located  on the east side of Windom just off Lakeview Avenue and 16th Street.

When it comes to playgrounds, Kastle Kingdom in Windom MN is one of our FAVORITES.

1.Simple design- The simple design of the playground appeals to a wide variety of age groups. Both of my toddlers (3.5 & 1.5) can actively enjoy the playground they can climb, jump, run, slide, drive, swing and do what kids love to do at parks.

2. THE SIZE-  While we were at Kastle Kingdom last Wednesday there were several other play dates going on at the same time, plus a bus-ful of school kids… and there was plenty of space (10,000 sq.feet to be exact)… for everyone. It was amazing.

3. Its smoke free- There are several well posted signs stating this around the park. I understand that they are hard to enforce, but I would like to give a shout out the young child that said something last Wednesday when a couple was smoking in the park. #yourockkid

4. The 10,000sq. ft playground was build by 680 Windom residents, in five days. AMAZING. What a feat in such a small period of time.
