- I have received compensation for this post, but 100% of the opinions are my own.
From the second you find out you are expecting your first child. EVERYTHING CHANGES. You start changing your thought process from a couple, to a family.
Being worried, about what you did, ate, drank, or didn’t do all the above and how it will effect your unborn child is rough, and 100% normal.
For me, the tiny little (paid off) fuel efficient economy car… was literately not big enough anymore.. so that meant, research, research, research…
Being safe is obviously top of the line concern, but I am not equipped to share what does or doesn’t make something the safest. So we are going to skip the safety conversation for today.
But I can tell you what to look for in addition to safety, here are 5 other features to look for in your next family vehicle.
Remote Start–
Whether you reside in the Midwest where it is freezing in the winter and boiling in the summer, the wonderful addition of remote start can help make errands, commuting, shopping, traveling, and well life in general so much easier. Remote start provides an opportunity to have the car ready for the temperature that you want it.. before you are even in the car.

Stow and Go seats-
For the ultimate convenience, transition the arrangement of your vehicle’s seating according to what you need when you need it. Need to pick up a small appliance then bring the basketball team to practice. Just fold over or fold up the seat accordingly. Some newer vehicles even offer power stow and go seating !!
Leather interior ( or easy to be wiped off) –
People make messes, at any age, make it a breeze to clean, not a fortune. Keeping a vehicle clean, when you use it on a regular basis is hard. Having interior that is easily cleaned can help keep it clean, and you keep your sanity.
Captain Chairs-
When choosing 3rd row vehicles, I would recommend going with captains chairs in the second row. Having that little bit of extra space makes it easier to move around for EVERYONE. Getting kids into their seat in the third row, or getting everything packed in for a family vacation or road trip (or just daily life) is so much easier if you can do it easier with the extra space and captains seats .
Automatic Doors- They aren’t just for mini vans.. One of my absolute favorite features, that is found in a multitude of crossovers, SUVs, wagons, and minivans. this extra perk available with a convenient button, switch or handy remote. They can make loading and unloading people and items in and out of your vehicle so easy.
