Sometimes life is hard.
Hard not to get caught up in the rat race of life trying to keep up with the Jones.
Hard not to get overwhelmed with all the negative on the radio, in the news, and throughout your newsfeed.
Hard not to feel like a failure that you haven’t swept up up the cheerios from under the kitchen two weeks ago.
Parenting is hard and humbling.
It is so easy to forget how blessed we are.
Blessed to have all the people and things we do in our lives.
People and things are so easy to take for granted.
But nothing or no one really should be for granted.
The holiday season is a great time to show thanks for those many blessings. Giving back is a great way to show appreciation for those blessings, and to give purposeful intentional gifts rather than just spending money to spend money or just get this years it toy.
That is where Tackle Kids Cancer comes in, they provide a way to help make a difference to the many children that are faced with cancer. It is a way for people whether child, family, adult, groups or individuals to help other families facing the hardships of cancer. Currently only 4% of funds from the government that are given towards cancer are directed to pediatric cancer. Pediatric cancer is also the number one cause of death by disease for children. Funding is both important and crucial.
Being a parent you want the best for your child. By helping Tackle kids cancer you are helping other families do just that, providing for pediatric cancer research and innovative patient care programs to help find a cure .
This holiday season I challenge you to give back and bless those around you by giving back to great organizations like Tackle Kids Cancer.
