I love Groupon for about 1,001 different reasons. You are able to get great travel deals, restaurant deals, business deals, class deals, and just plain great deals. Which is FABULOUS for people (like myself) who LOVE SAVING money so they can get things like diapers š
Ā When I was talking to my husband last weekend about this weekās blog posts he told me he had never heard of Groupon!?
Ā I am pretty sure that is at least aĀ partialĀ lie (Sorry Greg) because when I get a good deal, I LOVE to share my good deals, and I know Iāve talked about it on several instances when Iāve gottenĀ good deals on places like the Brooking’s Childrenās Museum, Minnesota Childrenās Museum, or the Science Center of Iowa (just to name a few).
Ā
One of my ānewestā ways to save money is with Groupon Coupons.
How do I do this?
Ā
I actually do this in several different ways but one of ways that helps save the most is either finding online promo codes for stores I already shop at online to help me save moreā¦ or stacking coupons (using both a digital coupon and a paper coupon on an item to get maximum discount, often on a sale item) to save even MORE $$$.
Ā
Groupon coupons are available both online via their website or via their Gropon ap. I will use it most often via ap.
Ā
To reach via ap:
** On top bar (green section) click nearby
** Then click see more in that option
** Then scroll to the bottom to the coupons section J

Note that if you just type in coupons in the search bar it will typically just bring you travel coupons. Those are great, but I donāt plan a trip to the Bahamas every day š
Ā
In Groupon coupons there are MANY different major retailers that offer FREE COUPONS in the database. Their database is constantly updating & changing with deals so keep looking if you are looking for a special deal.
Ā
My 3 personal favorites are:
Kohls, JcPenney & Target
Ā
Ā All three stores are fantastic places to stack coupons especially if you have their store credit card (we donāt have any credit cards).
Ā
One of my personal favorite examples of stacking coupons comes from shopping at Target during their baby sale 2 year ago. Ā At that time,Ā I needed a car seat for my daughter because she had outgrown her infant carrier. I had been shopping around and asking friends and family members narrowing down my options.
Ā
Well, Ā Target had the designated car seat I wanted on sale for $120 down from $180.
Ā
** $20 off a purchase of $100 via Target Cartwheel.
Ā
** Plus 20% off digital coupon
Ā
** Plus 20% off paper coupon
Ā
I paid $60 for a $180 car seat!!!
Ā
Long story short There are many ways to save money, you just have to know where to look, and Groupon coupons is one of those places to look.
Another great way to keep up-to-date on deals going on with Groupon is their Facebook page & twitter account.
