Chicken & Dumplings

If my husband & kids would let me I would love to make this dish for every meal. This homemade Chicken & Dumplings is EASY and delicious on a cold winter day.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Shredded/ Diced Chicken
  • 4 Cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 Can (12oz.) Evaporated Milk
  • 2 T Flour
  • 4 Cups Frozen Vegetables
  • 1 Can Jumbo Biscuits

Instructions

  1. 1. Cook Chicken then dice/shred it.
  2. 2. In a stock pot with Lid, make Chicken broth (4tsp bouillon with 4 cups boiling water/ or bring store bought chicken broth to a light simmer.
  3. 3. At low heat add the 2T flour and 1 Can of Evaporated Milk to help bring the broth to a thicker consistency.
  4. 4. Take the biscuits out of the tub and cut into tiny pieces. Tinier the better.
  5. 5. Add the biscuits into the thickened broth. Then add the Frozen vegetables.
  6. 6. Have the entire mixture simmer in the pot at low heat for 40 minutes stirring occasionally.
  7. 7. eat & enjoy!
